| Sord M5 was japanese attempt to offer cheap alternative to MSX standard. Sord M5 had rubbered keyboard, cartridge based Basic interpreters (Basic G for graphics, Basic F for floating arithmetics, etc.), Z80 CPU and TI graphics chip similar to MSX. It was market failure and unsold stock was exported to Czechoslovakia. Some clever users hacked and ported few native MSX games to this platform as well as Speccy games. |
